The Iowa DOT is hiring seasonal winter maintenance snowplow operators statewide for the 2016-2017 winter season. Temporary employment period will be October 15, 2016 through April 15, 2017.

 

Qualified applicants will be required to:

  • Operate maintenance and snow/ice removal equipment, such as end loaders, single or tandem axel dump trucks that may be equipped with tailgate or hopper spreaders, straight blades or V-plows, snowplow wing blades and underside ice blades.
  • Possess and maintain a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an air brake endorsement and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Compensation is $16.90/hour.
